Bailey Whiteman

Bailey Whiteman (she/they) has been a practicing Unitarian Universalist for nearly 25 years, first as a professional singer at All Souls DC. From 2011-2019 she served as music director for the Washington Ethical Society (a dually affiliated, UU-adjacent Ethical Culture congregation), since which she has built a consulting practice, specializing in interim/transition periods, supporting congregations as they explore their music history and imagine their music ministries in bold, new ways. Bailey's deep knowledge of structures, culture, and UU history make her a valued hub of connection for colleagues and congregations across the UUA, while helping her advise staff, ministers, and lay leaders in congregations of all sizes in service of transformation and justice.
