Carl Kennedy serves as Director of Music and Worship arts and the DuPage Unitarian Universalist Church in Naperville, Illinois. Outside of UU music, Carl maintains an active performing career as a pianist, having performed at venues nationwide including the John F. Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts, the Millennium Park Jay Pritzker Pavilion, South by Southwest Music Festival, Summerfest, and many others. Carl holds a Bachelor of Music in Theory/Composition with a Jazz Emphasis from Lawrence University, as well as a Master of Music in Jazz Composition from the DePaul School of Music. Carl lives in Chicago, IL, with his wife Patty and their two little ones, Owen and Emmett.
